STATION DESK Tokyo Marunouchi is a space of approximately 50m² with 16 seats, including semi-private rooms and telephone booths.
To allow employees to relax and concentrate on their work amid the hustle and bustle of the station, we paid particular attention to details when designing the space, such as seats where you can take off your shoes and lie down while working, aromatherapy, and just the right amount of lighting .
On the other hand, in terms of sound, like many other shared offices around the world, we were limited to playing commercially available background music.
I still remember the shock I felt when we switched from the conventional background music to the ambient music by Chokei Office. The view from the edge of the space was completely different .
The feedback from users has been very positive. Heavy users were the first to notice the change , with some saying that they were able to get their work done more efficiently than before, and others saying that the music itself sounds more stylish and cool.
